Easy and clever DIY Halloween craft ideas for kids

Is your home ready for the spookiest night of the year? From hanging ghosts and spiderwebs to tombstones with eerie soundtracks, there’s just no limit to what you can do to your home — inside and out — on Halloween. Check out these kid-friendly DIY ideas by Fevicol A+ team, India’s leading art and craft brand.

Trick or Treat Bowl

MATERIALS USED: Fevicol A+, fevicryl acrylic colours, fine art brushes, balloon, tissue paper, cutter, coloured gateway sheet, pencil.

STEP 1: Take a balloon, blow it and tie a knot.

STEP 2: Coat the balloon with fevicol A+ water mixture and drape it with bits of tissue paper keeping an area open around the knot. Continue doing the same and add five more layers to it.

STEP 3: After the layers are completely dried, burst the inner balloon with a sharp object.

STEP 4: Make the Halloween pumpkin expression on the tissue paper ball and cut it out using a paper cutter.

STEP 5: Cover the bottom portion of the tissue paper ball with another layer of tissue paper and fevicol A+ mixture. Keep in mind that the bottom portion of the tissue paper ball should be flat.

STEP 6: Make the pumpkin stem by adding more tissue paper with fevicol A+ mixture. Refer to the image.

STEP 7: Paint the outer portion of the pumpkin with fevicryl acrylic colours of your choice.

STEP 8: Cut the pumpkin into half and leave an inch on the back side, the upper portion will them form the flap for your bowl.

STEP 9: Paint the inner portion of the bowl with fevicryl acrylic colours of your choice.

STEP 10: Stick coloured gateway sheet behind the pumpkin expressions with fevicol A+. Our trick or treat bowl is ready!

STEP 2: Stick two small pieces of ice-cream sticks in the centre with fevicol A+ to hold the sticks firmly

STEP 3: Paste ice-cream sticks with fevicol A+ on the outer edges of the barbecue sticks. Refer to the image.
